 Today in mania Kalani I used the app Art Coloring book to give a piece of art a makeover to bring it to life.The app was so cool to use and you should check it out for yourself.

Bahamas 4 Life

 Hey there, I am just chilling in the Bahamas and I was talking to my friend Emma and she said she would love to go to the Bahamas so I sent her a postcode that I made in maniakalani.

Recently in hub Mako we have been learning about media so I made  post card convincing Emma that I have been to the Bahamas. Using the apps remove bg, webcam toy,and unsplash with the help of google drawings I put it all together and this is the final result. Hope you like it!!

What's Influencing You ?

Over the year Hub Mako has been doing mania kalani we have had many focuses,at the moment we are learning about media. There are multiple types of media, my work today explains three types of media. Social media,print media,and broadcatsing media are the main ones that infleunce and inform me. While using canva I played around with fonts and colours. Recently I have been trying to make themes in my blog post. I hope you find my post appeling and informative.

Kyer's Key To Ratios

Kia Ora, Sarah here and this is my version of Hub Mako's maniakalni task this week. The challenge was set; using the tools from previous experience. Creating one of a kind masterpieces about how to solve our prime book questions. Using piskel, slides animation, and screencastify this is what my finished product is. It was interesting to see if I had remembered how to use all the tools from the previous sessions. After I put in plenty of time I was finally satisfied with my creation. 

I would love to hear some feedback after you watched my video as it was really fun creating this and I want to make it the best it can be. So sit back, relax, and watch Kyer and Chantelle figure out the ratio problem that awaits them.

Fishy Fishy In The Sea !!

Hi there, I am glad you stumbled upon my game. Recently my class has been visiting Tonui and we have made games to share with everyone and give us feedback. Creating and learning new things was so much fun. Luckily for you it's a free website and you can enjoy it to, just visit the free website makecode arcade and let your imagination run free. Snazzy Sharp Video

Sharp reading is one of the great things we do in hub Mako. Creating a video of the facts we know about the story is one of the fun follow up challenges set for us. A group of my friends and I enjoyed making this and we hope you enjoy watching it.

Terrific Tipu Game

In hub Mako we are learning about making games using scratch a coding app. Tipu a (Maori language app)is what the game is based on. Sharing our game with younger students to improve their te reo was the aim of the game.
I found it easy to create the Sprite (character) as it was fun to use my creativeness.Butterflies and birds were part of the sky theme, we each created a character.Inserting photos and customizng them until it was to our satisfaction.
I really enjoyed playing the game at the end and seeing what I created with Georgia. We hope you enjoy it!

Piskel Character

We have a new challenge in Hub Mako, to create a game. The first challenge is creating a character. This was fun but challenging I tried to pick a simple one but their is still heaps of detail.

Cyber Safety Central

In Mania Kalani we were asked to create a video on how to hold you computer properly (kawa of care) for young primary students. Me and Hannah had heaps of fun creating this video. Trying to make it eyecatching for the younger students was very important so we transported into our 7 yearold selfs and this is waht we came up with. Hope you like it!

Intro Video!

Recently in Hub Mako we have been making alot of we videos so we were challenged to make short intro video to put at the beginning of or videos. It was so much fun I played with mine and made it really colourful and SNAZZY!!!

Copy Right free Collage

Recently in hub Mako we have been learning about copy right. Copy right is used very frequently all over the internet but did you now you can get fines up to thousand of dollars. Chalenges are loved in our hub, so we were set of to create a collage of all our trates, hobbies,family,age and much more but there was a catch we had to use free photos or ask for permission. News Flash (sharp reading)

Recently in sharp reading we were given the task to write a scrip of a news report on the story we read and executed it with wevideo. I used some classmates Kya and Chanelle as characters and I was the reporter. It was really fun to make. Hope you like it.

This week for Mania Kalani me and Hannah were challenged to make a video explaining how to walk safely with your computer. These videos will be used for younger students. I found it really fun to make and the editing was surprisingly easy. Hope you like it .

ANZAC Artefact

Today our task in mania kalani was to make a ANZAC artefact for others to use as a background for an animation or poster. I drew this myself on a new platform my class are using. I think mine is good because in lots of online photos you see has a beautiful sunrise or sunset and this shows that. These are free to use without copyright and you get to put your own special touch on it like I drew a base tent.
